Elizabeth Gilbert has the gift to express heart and soul with words. I read Eat Pray Love and found pieces of myself in each chapter. I laughed, cried and felt connected.
Tonight I watched the movie and had a similar experience. There are so many profound moments! I loved the part where she says”God dwells within you, as you”. The hours of searching for peace from an external source, when infact I just had to look inside. Knowing that when I am honouring my truth and living with integrity, love and light, I am all those things.

I am grateful for every book that has shaped a part of my being and for authors that have written them.

And I am happy that God dwells within me, as me.

I have spent the past month travelling and seeing new places. I love the art, history and culture and how they influence a country and it’s people.

One of the most profound moments while away was when I woke up to see Malta stretched out infront of me like a brand new colouring book. Can you imagine a place where everything is the same? Where colour does not exist? I loved it, but it did bring about a realisation in me that differences, uniqueness and perspective add colour to our lives.

So many places I visited took my breath away and I swore that I would return to them.

So far, France has my mind, Malta has my admiration and Italy has my heart.

I purchased the CD’s promising that you can learn Italian in 3 months. Let’s see what happens…

I found a little book called “When I loved myself enough” written by Kim McMillen. I love it! Here are some of the quotes from the book:

-When I loved myself enough ~ I quit settling for too little.

-When I loved myself enough ~ I came to know my own goodness.

-When I loved myself enough ~ I came to know I am worthy of knowing God directly.

-When I loved myself enough ~ I quit having to be right, which makes being wrong meaningless.

And so many more that I can apply to my growth as a human being and my journey as a passer by in this beautiful world!
